Ready, set, go! You will be amazed at what your child can learn at four. From developing a solid base of foundation skills from the I Can Do and Watch Me Play, your child is ready to show us what they can do.
Your child will be exposed to a variety of sports skills from basketball, hockey, tennis, soccer and baseball (to name but a few). Playballers of this age are able to concentrate for longer periods and are also more able to imitate and learn specific skills. This means that they have the opportunity to practise the skills more rigorously developing competence in:
A wide variety of specific sports skills
Individual partner and group participation
Overcoming their fears that discourage sport participation
Organised ball skill activities
Skill sequencing is also introduced at the later stage of the program and is a very
important part of any sport program as it teaches your child how to move on
